Basic URL Link Syntax
"URL" stands for Uniform Resource Locator. A URL is basically a
virtual street address for a location on the Internet. It consists
of three parts: the protocol, the domain (or host) name, and the
directory and/or filename. Most protocols are separated from the
rest of the URL using "://".
